ABSOLUTELY AMAZING collection of horror, sci-fi, exploitation, cult, trash, B-movie posters. Highly recommended!!!

Bass hits the desktop in Altec Lansing’s new Expressionist Bass Speakers ($150; October 2008). These cone-shaped PC speakers pack a 4-inch long-throw subwoofer into the base of each, with 1.5-inch drivers handling the mids and highs, removing the need for large, typically floor-bound sub enclosures. Firstshowing just posted this on their site… is a fan made poster for what could be the dark knight sequel. I have to tell you who ever did this, did one great job. It shows The Riddler as the next villain something that can definitely happen for the next batman movie. What do you think?

I can’t wait for this movie. I love Robots. I do love explosions. Add Robots, explosions AND Megan Fox together and you have the perfect movie.

Meet The New Lara Croft, former gymnast Alison Carroll of Croydon, a borough of London. Alison Carroll, 23, from Croydon, follows in the footsteps of models like Nell McAndrew in the promotional role of the action heroine, as well as Angelina Jolie, who played the part in the film version of the Tomb Raider video game. But Carroll has not landed a movie role - instead she will appear at promotions and conferences in character, performing stunts such as back flips, and will play the part in TV commercials. And she will promote the new Tomb Raider video game, Underworld, which is released in November. For her new job, she will be given SAS survival training, a weapons training course in eastern Europe and a crash course in archaeology. [ link ]

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Paris Hilton has just been paid the ultimate compliment as a Russian teenager, Anna Ivanov, has undergone surgery to look just like her.

19-year-old- vanov was already nicknamed Paris by her friends for her resemblance to the socialite, but she really wanted to be her in every detail.

Flash of Genius looks like a pretty good movie. Greg Kinnear plays Robert Kearns, an inventor in the 1960’s who fights automobile giant Ford(primarily) for the patent and idea behind the intermittent automobile windshield wiper. The film is based on a true story involving one man and his fight against big automotive corporations.

Everybody likes Batman. He’s a superhero we can relate to. Unlike Superman or, say, the Incredible Hulk, Batman isn’t an alien or mutant. He’s just a regular guy who makes himself “super” using mobile gadgets.

Batman is in the crime-fighting racket. And he’s better than other crime fighters because he’s got better devices, computers, cars and weapons — and has trained himself how to use them.

But most of us don’t fight crime. We’re IT professionals and lawyers and technology columnists. But that doesn’t mean we can’t be like Batman and TRANSFORM OURSELVES INTO SUPERHEROS in our own professions by buying and mastering extreme devices.
