These retro-styled Equipe sneakers feature suede, leather, and canvas details in contrasting colors, with washed out uppers that make them look like they’ve been with you for years. You know, sorta like how your psycho ex-girlfriend described your relationship — “It feels like we’ve been together for years!” — but without the ugly restraining order.

With a touch screen interface, 8GB of internal storage, and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (€279, ~$386; Q4 2008) has a lot of the same features as the iPhone — but one big one Apple’s handset is missing. The 5800 is among Nokia’s first handsets to support Comes With Music, a service that will provide one full year of all-you-can-eat downloads from the Nokia Music Store. Other features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, video recording, Flash support, built-in stereo speakers, and more.

Like the bastard child of a patchwork quilt and a pair of Air Max ‘96 runners, the Nike Tune 10 ($140) features a classic shape and a Tuned Air heel cushioning unit mixed with a crazy-ass, multi-color leather and synthetic upper in one of four colorways.

As much as we hate Mazda’s Zoom-Zoom slogan, we can’t help but like the all-new 2009 Mazda6 ($19,220 and up). The new sedan sports even more aggressive styling, and better fuel economy: drivers can get up to 30mpg with the 2.5L 4-cylinder making 170hp, or step up to the 3.7L V6 for 272hp and still get 25mpg. Manual and manual-shift automatic transmissions are available, as are a push-button ignition, Bluetooth cellular integration, and touchscreen navigation system. Mid-sized sedans just got a little less boring.
