The iPosture Posture Improvement Device($100) was created to serve as an aid to men and women in improving their posture, enhances their appearance. You just wearn it as a pendant, clipped to clothing or adhered directly to the skin, it can remind you by vibrating intermittently if your posture is uncorrected.
“The iPosture immediately begins improving a user’s posture by vibrating intermittently when the user slouches and continuing to vibrate until posture is corrected. The iPosture is designed to be worn for approximately four hours per day for the first two to four weeks in order to improve posture by ingraining good behaviors in the user. Once a user learns to correct him- or herself, he or she will continue to do so even when not wearing the device. However, the user should continue to use the device two to three times per week thereafter to maintain posture improvement. The iPosture monitor was developed to be the smallest, most user-friendly posture improvement device on the market. Just 1 inch in diameter, the iPosture is designed with intuitive technology that senses when the body slouches, and it alerts the user with a brief vibration to correct it. “

The Boombox Project by Photographer Lyle Owerko. A collection of photos of 80’s and 90’s radios. Exactly when the term ‘beambox’ hit the streets is not known for sure. In the Unite States. department stores apparently began using the term in marketing and advertising as early as 1983. Street slang linguists pin the term down at 1981. and define the boom box as “a large portable radio and tape player with two attached speakers…”. Check out see more pics and works.

Forgotten for the past century deep within the Atlantic Ocean, this amazing telescope was built by a Victorian inventor to build a friendship between two large cities: London and New York. The project was resurfaced and now everyone can wave to their friends in New York effortlessly. According to the Daily Mail, “the Telectroscope uses 6ft screens and a Jules Verne style telescope that gleams with brass and an array of Victorian dials. Participants peer into one end of the screen - and hey presto - they can see anyone standing at the other side.” Here is how the powerful telescope looks like.

How big is too big? Apparently that question has never been asked in cruise ship design. Next year, Royal Caribbean cruise line is scheduled to launch two Oasis Class ships, which would be the largest cruise ships ever.
So, how big is the Oasis class cruise ship? The first one, Oasis of the Seas, will be 118 feet (36 m) longer than the Eiffel Tower. It’s so large that it has its own “Central Park” in the middle of the ship that is open to the sky and filled with lush tropical gardens, restaurants, and (of course) shops.

If you like to talk on your cell phone, then you have Marty Cooper to thank for it - he’s the father of the mobile phone:
Cooper filed a patent for the ‘radio telephone
system’ in 1973, while working at Motorola, and was the first person to
make a call on a portable cell phone. (He called a rival engineer at
Bell Labs.) Cooper has stated that his inspiration came from watching
Star Trek’s Captain Kirk talk on his communicator device. Today, Cooper
is the CEO and founder of ArrayComm.

There are several categories of camera gear available: there’s the sensible, the desirable and then there’s the stuff that you’d never even imagined. Here’s a selection of equipment that most definitely belongs in the latter category.
Sigma APO 200-500 F/2.8
Image: Sigma
Perhaps the most “sensible” of the items presented in this list, this is nevertheless one of the heftiest tele zoom lenses for SLR cameras around. While the zoom range of 200-500mm is nothing new or exciting, it’s the maximum aperture of an incredible f/2.8 throughout the focal range that makes this such a special lens.
While a lot of tele lenses have a distinct cannon barrel look, Sigma have apparently done all they can to enhance that trait, giving the lens a leafy green finish. The end result is an extremely fast tele zoom lens that could easily be confused with a surface-to-air missile launcher.
